| Most important issue: |
As the only proven progressive , DFL- and labor-endorsed candidate in this election, I will use peace as my guiding principle. I want our troops out of Iraq now. Health care shouldn’t be a perk, but a right. Our children’s inheritance should be a healthy environment, not a burdensome national debt to fund tax cuts for a wealthy few. The Fifth District deserves a leader who won’t shrink from Minnesota’s proud progressive traditions but embraces and lives by them. I have been that leader in the Legislature and will continue to be that leader as a congressman from Minnesota. |
