| Most important issue: |
As the first independent congresswoman in U.S. history, I will work to end the divisiveness in Washington, D.C., and focus on the priorities that matter: balancing the budget, keeping our commitments to public schools with investments in early childhood and special education, making health care more affordable and accessible for more people through association health plans, and investing in clean, renewable energy sources. I will govern from the sensible center and put the interests of the Fifth District ahead of petty, partisan politics. I am fiscally responsible and socially progressive — a position that best represents all of the Fifth District. |
