| Most important issue: | The main issue affecting the Minneapolis school board/school district today is the high turnover of newly graduated teachers. There should be a balance between new teachers and senior teachers at schools in the more affluent neighborhoods. Newly graduated teachers paired up with senior teachers would create more stability throughout the whole district rather than in certain pockets. This would provide a better opportunity to create a wholesome community of learning and growing for students, parents and teachers. |
