Residents expect the opportunity to have meaningful participation in solving issues such as traffic, public safety and redevelopment before decisions are made. I will put forward a more active effort to involve citizens in local governance, which is vital to a strong future for Bloomington. This includes finding more creative opportunities to use technology for city services and information, more neighborhood involvement in the citywide redevelopment process, and the active pursuit of partnership opportunities among all entities and organizations in Bloomington. |
