We face our toughest budget challenge in decades and need to remember that small businesses and residents ? seniors, families, kids, homeowners and renters ? will rely on us to continue supporting strong neighborhoods. Neighborhood-scale redevelopment ? not ballparks or megamalls; support for historic preservation; providing police, fire and paramedic protection. Parks and library services are my priorities. |
