| Most important issue: |
As mayor of Savage, I would focus on orderly development which includes new projects, infill and redevelopment. Everything is intertwined ? open space, parks, trails, traffic and fiscal responsibility. We now have fiscal policies in place to better plan for the future. When I ran for City Council four years ago one of my goals was to ?do something? with the gravel parking lot, aka the public square, in downtown Savage. By partnering with others we were able to redo the parking lot, return and refurbish the depot, contract for a farmers market, an art studio and affordable housing. |
