| Most important issue: |
Shakopee is a rapidly emerging community in the southwest metro. It is my challenge as mayor to provide direction and stability to the continuing issues that are faced by our residents. These include: 1) providing a reasonable mix of housing options that foster the development of neighborhoods, 2) insuring continued job growth with livable wage opportunities and 3) continuing emphasis on much-needed highway and transit improvements. All of these issues must be accomplished while providing a stable property tax environment. |
