| Most important issue: | America needs to go all in when it comes to energy independence. That's why I've introduced comprehensive legislation and joined a bipartisan group to get something done. We need to use the resources we've got right here instead of sending billions of dollars overseas to those who want to harm us. We need drilling, oil shale, nuclear, clean-coal, more conservation and renewables now. We also need to improve our energy infrastructure, using the same spirit used to jump-start our transportation infrastructure in the 1950s, by investing in fuel alternatives, including advanced batteries maximizing the range of plug-in electric hybrid vehicles. | |
