Most important issue: The economy is the biggest issue facing the Third District right now, and my top priority is to get our economy back on track. In order to do that, we've got to restore oversight of our financial markets, balance our budget and pay down our debt, implement a comprehensive energy policy, invest in early childhood education and lifelong education, and stop spending $10 billion a month in Iraq. This is a historic opportunity for change. I am so optimistic about our ability to work together and overcome these challenges to get our economy moving again.
