I ran for this office because partisan politics was failing Chisago County and Minnesota. I am proud that the Legislature finished our work on time and on budget 2 years in a row and delivered on the basic issues: health care reform, property taxes, job growth, education funding, and energy and environmental conservation. It was my honor to chief-author the Military Voting Bill to make sure our troops have their votes counted in this year's election. If reelected, I will continue putting people's needs ahead of political games and focus on solutions that work for Minnesota. |
