Most important issue: It is an honor to serve the people of District 25A. My education, experience as a small business owner, and background in city government provided me a solid foundation for my legislative work. Some issues of importance include reducing healthcare cost increases, improving equity in education funding, ensuring a strong economy for job creation and controlling energy costs. Heathcare reform efforts should lower costs through a system where families, not government or insurance companies, have greater control over their healthcare choices. We must continue looking for reform opportunities so that taxpayer dollars are spent smartly and effectively.
