| Most important issue: |
While issues such as health care, education, transportation and others are extremely important, I will focus on the economy and energy independence during the next session. Families are struggling with tough economic times and higher prices for food and gas. I will always put the family budget in front of the government budget. I will push to eliminate price controls at the pump. I will work to ensure Minnesota is prepared to meet its future energy needs by promoting legislation that would remove the prohibition on new nuclear power facilities. |
