| Most important issue: | The number one issue in our district is funding. We don't have as much industry as most, so the district must get their funding from home owners. With home owners in two of the cities in our district being in the top 10 statewide for property taxes it is difficult to raise additional funding by taxes. I believe we,the district, either have to get the state to change the way industry poor districts get funded or work with the cities in our district to draw businesses to our area. |
