| Most important issue: | The board continually faces budgetary, curriculum and image issues. The budget is a challenge in funding quality education, and the students must remain the focus in any budget discussion. On curriculum, Ive seen the problems that differences in curriculum at district schools can cause students at the high school. We dont need a cookie-cutter approach, but we need similar outcomes so students at the high school are equally prepared. On image, our district often takes a bad rap. Any good PR person will tell you the best PR is doing good. ISD191 has so much good - let's tell it! | |
